학사 규정 (School Regulations)
1. 교육방침
본교는 일차적으로는 한인2세들에게, 더 나아가 원하는 모든 이들에게 한국어 교육의 기회를 제공하며, 그에 필요한 각종 정보를 수집하여 한국어를 통한 자기완성에 도움이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다한다.
2.규칙
(1) 안전하고 즐거운 학교가 될 수 있도록 본교가 속해 있는 새생명비전교회와 Los Angeles School Districts의 규칙을 준수하는 것을 원칙으로 하되 규칙을 되풀이 하여 어길 경우 담당교사와의 면담을 통해 교장과 학부모간의 면담이 주선되며, 문제가 발생할 경우 운영위원회에서 결정하는 바에 따른다.
(2) 결석: 결석이 예상되는 경우, 사전에 담임 선생님을 통해 알린다. 무단 결석 3번은 유급 처리 한다.
(3) 지각: 예상하지 못한 채 지각을 할 경우 반드시 학교 사무실로 혹은 담임선생님께 연락하도록 한다.
(4) 조퇴: 교외행사 혹은 신체안위의 문제가 발생할 경우 학교 교무 선생님 혹은 담임 선생님을 통해 조퇴를 신청한다.
(5) 한 학기당 특별한 사유없이 5번 이상 무단 결석을 할 경우 입학대기학생에게 학습의 기회를 양보한다.
(6) 수업: 학교 수업시간 중에는 휴대폰을 사용할 수 없다.
(7) 교재: 매 학기초에 교과서가 무료로 배부되나, 이 후 학생 개인의 실수로 분실될 경우 한국학교 교무 선생님께 개별적으로 문의 해야 한다.
3. 사고의 책임
(1) 학생이 학교의 건물이나 기타 물건을 훼손하였을 경우 학부모가 책임지고 보상한다.
(2) 본교에서는 교장 이하 모든 교직원들이 학생들의 안전을 위해 최선을 다 할 것이며 그럼에도 불구하고 발생한 사고에 대해서는 교회나 학교 교직원이 책임지지 않는다.
4. 행사참여
(1) 모든 학생들은 학교에서 결정한 행사에 적극적으로 참여한다.
5. 학부모 협조사항
(1) 학교의 학습 일정에 따라 학습효과를 배가 시키기 위하여 각 가정에서 최선을 다한다.
(2) 숙제를 잘 할 수 있도록 돕는다.
(3) 학교 행사및 학부모회 행사에 적극적으로 참여한다.
(4) 등하교 시간을 꼭 지켜서 정해진 시간에 수업이 시작되고 끝날 수 있도록 돕는다.
(5) 학생의 학습 진도 및 학급배정에 관해서는 학교측에 일임한다.
6. 기타
(1) 학교사정에 따라 학사일정은 변경될 수 있다.

1. Educational Policy
Our school primarily aims to provide Korean language education to second-generation Korean-Americans and, further, to anyone interested. We strive to collect the necessary information and resources to help individuals achieve personal growth through the Korean language.
2. Rules
(1) To ensure a safe and enjoyable school environment, we adhere to the rules of the New Life Vision Church and the Los Angeles School District. Repeated violations of these rules will result in a meeting with the teacher, followed by a consultation between the principal and the parents. Any unresolved issues will be decided by the school’s administrative committee.
(2) Absences: If an absence is expected, it must be reported in advance to the homeroom teacher. Three unexcused absences will result in grade retention.
(3) Tardiness: If unforeseen tardiness occurs, students must notify the school office or their homeroom teacher.
(4) Early Dismissal: Early dismissal due to external events or safety concerns must be requested through the school office or the homeroom teacher.
(5) Unexcused Absences: More than five unexcused absences in a semester without valid reasons will result in the student’s spot being offered to those on the waiting list.
(6) Classroom Rules: Cell phones are not permitted during class hours.
(7) Textbooks: Textbooks are distributed free of charge at the beginning of each semester. However, if lost due to a student’s carelessness, replacements must be requested individually from the Korean school office.
3. Accident Responsibility
(1) If a student damages school property or other items, the parents are responsible for compensation.
(2) While the principal and all staff will make every effort to ensure student safety, neither the church nor the school staff will be held liable for accidents that occur despite these efforts.
4. Event Participation
(1) All students are expected to actively participate in school-organized events.
5. Parental Cooperation
(1) Parents are encouraged to do their best at home to enhance the learning experience in line with the school’s curriculum.
(2) Support students in completing their homework.
(3) Actively participate in school and PTA events.
(4) Ensure students arrive and leave on time to facilitate the timely start and end of classes.
(5) Entrust the school with decisions regarding student progress and class assignments.
6. Miscellaneous
(1) The academic schedule is subject to change based on school circumstances.
